THE GIFT HORSES

My name is Katuš and i'm a world-folk touring musician and composer.

 My new band THE GIFT HORSES is a carousel of brilliant musicians with a rolling line-up, inspired by lockdown improvisations. We will be touring the UK in the autumn . All money recieved will go toward touring costs and the creation of a new album at the end of the tour.

I have worked with Griot and kora player Yankuba Conteh since 2013 when we met in West Africa on route to Festival au Desert . He joined us on our first UK album tour in 2015.

We established the Bai Conteh Music School teaching traditional music in The Gambia in 2016 , and it’s now a charity teaching local children from all backgrounds as well as international students.
