The Holy City Needs Angels

Donation protected
The Holy City Needs A Few Angels to help raise $10,000 for funding THE HOLY CITY: Art of Love, Unity and Resurrection exhibition - in Charleston, 414 King Street, June 1 - July 17, 2016 - featuring works forged from the raw emotions of the immediate aftermath of last June's mass shooting, by the Passages Artists Collective, who last showed together at Mother Emanuel AME, in 2013, when Reverend Pinckney opened the doors of his church to a group of extraordinary creatives giving voice to the breadth and depth of the Black-American experience.

The Holy City Exhibition is a serene gallery space that invites the public to pay tribute to those we have lost, and reflect on what it would mean to truly be (as Charleston is called) The Holy City.  A portion of proceeds will benefit an effort to create a permanent place on the Peninsula, as envisaged by Reverend Clementa Pinckney, "where African-American artists can show their work." For gallery hours and the schedule of special musical and literary events, visit TheHolyCityArt on Facebook at  www.facebook.com/theholycity ‌.
