Hi! Welcome to The Hygiene Campaign's first official fundraising site! The Hygiene Campaign is a donation project to collect feminine hygiene products such as tampons, pads, and liners to donate to homeless women.
Homeless women often do not have access to sanitary products that are necessary to women's health and well-being. With your help, we can address the Homeless Period by opening up a dialogue about menstruation to destigmatize this health issue and make a real difference by donating to homeless shelters.
Throughout the school year, The Hygiene Campaign has made great efforts to collect donations on college campuses in the Boston area. During the summer, however, gathering donations of physical items such as tampons and pads for the Campaign is harder to do. Thus, here we are. Every dollar counts and every dollar goes straight to the purchasing of feminine hygiene products for the homeless.
The goal right now is to donate 100 boxes of tampons and pads, each selling for about $7. With your help and monetary donations, we can reach our goal of $700 and address this women's health issue one tampon at a time.
