"The Incredible Lamont" (documentary film) features the career and highly sensitive family tribulations of Lamont Ream, a loveable grandpa magician, who many have called Houdini incarnate only with a sunnier disposition. Besides escape artistry, mentalism, close up card and coin, he also performs the magic of live-in caretaking for his mentally handicapped brother in law, Abel Romero. Take a peek behind the curtain into the life of an extraordinary character and see the value of being Incredible to one another each and every day."

ABOUT THE DIRECTOR:
Over the past five years Taylor Keating has directed adventure & character based non-fiction films for brands from The North Face & National Geographic. His work has accumulated over two dozen festival awards in the last three years and toured the world for easily over two million viewers. Through every project, he strives to create unique stories rich with humor and an element of learning.

THE SKINNY:
As most documentaries, the film does not currently have a production budget outside of a personal checking account and has been self funded over the last seven months. In the spring of 2019, director Taylor Keating moved into his minivan in order to scrape enough cash to continue production on this film. This life style change was easy to make in order to continue production on a story that he believes in.

Taylor and myself (producer) are seeking donations of any size to support growing production costs. We are producing a live magic show AND documenting said magic show on August 3rd at the Boulder Library theater where Lamont will take the stage for the first time in a decades. He will be sharing this with his family, beloved community, and us.

This is the story of a remarkable man who has spent his entire life pursuing creativity in order to share a little joy with the world around him.
