April 2015 part 2 of The Kimball Project:
Well, we made it through a long winter. yes we had classes, we worked hard.
Now that the weather is better there are things we need to work on in and outside.
My initial deadlines were met, now have a new one. October is my next deadline, that is when they close this case. However, there something that I need amended. Right now Kimball is required to wear a muzzle anywhere on the property outside my apartment. Due too my physical disability I cannot put muzzle on and off, believe me I have tried. I can do a lot of things with my foot, putting a muzzle on any dog is not one of them. Something that requires two hands. So he needs more training, that's the only way I see I can get rid of the muzzle requirement.
That requires more classes, which requires more funds.

----------Part 1began Oct 2014--------------

I'm Jana a 45 yr old woman with Cerebral Palsy, who lives on a fixed income. I use an electric wheel chair to get around, and do most things, write, type, drive my chair with my left foot(yes foot). My furry friend Kimball a 3 1/2yr old Blue Healer, Australian Cattle Dog.  He was born in Arkansas where he lived as a stray with his mother, he was picked up and later adopted on 8/24/2012 by me in his new furrever home. Kimball is a Certified Service Dog ID C86885 living in Amherst, Massachusetts. He is a loving companion who can be seen out on the town by myside.  He loves peanut butter, long walks, cat treats, playing fetch, lots of toys and love.

The apartment building we live in is trying to get Kimball removed on the premiss that he is a danger to the community. Kimball has no record of ever biting anyone.

I need more training (which has been an ongoing issues due to money) proof of enrollment by Nov 10th, I have to get liability insurance by Nov 20th, and with the exception of my apartment and patio, if he is anywhere else on building property he has to wear a muzzle. As soon as I leave the property, I can remove the muzzle. None of the stores or banks in t own feel any danger.

The problem is money. I'm on a fixed income, I could do things in payment plans but not all at once, which  trainers don't do, and they are not cheap.

Please help Kimball keep his home,  and me my companion.
