The MOB has a special story that is about to add a new chapter. The universe has spoken and the time has come to invest in the future of this family. Sadly, the studio we have called home for the past few years is being demolished. We decided now is the time to plant our roots by opening our own space. You can help us grow by considering a financial contribution that will be used for start-up costs associated with opening MOB Headquarters (MOB HQ)...a studio for us to call home.

The MOB was established to inspire and encourage creative movers to embrace the core foundation of what it means to be a dance team. The MOB originated in 2013 as a way for Founder and Creative Director, Jay Chris Moore, to build that family mentality into his team. The goal was to create an environment for dancers to grow, not only as artists and movers, but as human beings. A space where team members can feel welcomed, cared about, and fully supported. An atmosphere that allows dancers to feel like they are truly a part of something special. A bond. A bloodline. A family.

Five years of hard work, dedication, weekly rehearsals, and many community performances has allowed the team to flourish and we are now looking to create roots for our family by opening a studio of our own: a place where we can set new goals and create more opportunities for our family members to succeed. The capstone to this phase of our journey.

If you are part of MOB, you are part of a bloodline that is strong and bonding. If you support the MOB, you are supporting a company that provides value and discipline for so many aspiring artists. The MOB is a company and brand that is worth the investment, not only for the community of dancers, but also for the community where we plant our roots. With total access and control of our own studio space, not only can we better accommodate our team and the non-traditional schedules of artists, but we can also offer our space to host a magnitude of special events. By securing our very own studio space, the community engagement opportunities become endless, and the MOB is on a mission to offer our studio/creative space as an open-door, artistic sanctuary.

This company has a great reputation and provides great opportunities for dancers to achieve their goals with the help, guidance, support, and mentorship of MOB Leaders and MOB Veterans. MOB Members all have individual paths they are following as artists, but our paths cross at MOB for a reason. We cross paths because we are destined to be family. Our dream as a family has been to have a place to call home. The time to plant our roots is now.


MOB HQ's Purpose is Trifold:
1. To provide a figurative home for team members/dancers in LA, where they may not have one otherwise (such as people from out of state or different countries).
2. To provide a space for dancers to receive quality training and performance opportunities.
3. To provide a space for the community to host/throw creative events. Such as:
-Opportunities for established and aspiring choreographers to network/teach/create
-Opportunities for established and aspiring photographers/videographers to network/teach/create
-Opportunities for upcoming clothing brands to host pop-up shops
-Opportunities for friends and neighbors to participate in the creative arts
-Opportunities for all creative artists to network and sell

Start-up costs include:
Initial Payment- $10,000
Sprung Dance Floor- est $10,000-15,000
Mirrors- est $5,000-6,000
Sound system- est $1,500 
Bathroom Renovation- $3,000
Painting- $3,000

*Any funds raised beyond the initial start-up costs will go toward funding our new Scholarship Program. This scholarship will aid qualifying members in paying their monthly MOB tuition.
