Mobile Natural Building School: @themudbunch

Saludos, we are the Cadavid + Hansen family of four, embarking on a mission early fall to teach natural building and continue our education. To share our combined skills of working with clay and earth; how it intertwines with holistic beauty and its overall benefit of the skin, body, mental health and a greater positive impact for people and the environment. Furthermore, share joy, love and light with communities across the United States and beyond.

Our offerings include but are not limited to: outdoor kitchen clay ovens, workshops, botanical facials, organic skin oils, and healing experiences - all aimed at enriching the lives of those we encounter.

The ultimate goal is to instill in our children and the new generations a deep connection to nature, self-sustainability, culture, and service.

Our journey will take us to various locations where we will explore, learn, and apprentice in the construction of a home; built by hand and of natural resources such as clay, sand, soil and straw. These techniques are affordable, efficient, nontoxic, breathable, fire proof and mold proof. Better for our health and the planet. Also, without sacrificing beautiful style and design.

Our first stop will be at Cob Hill Natural Building School in Texas to guide a workshop. From there, we have opportunities in Austin Texas, as well as in Florida and California. Eventually, settling on a plot of land where we can create a school and wellness haven, bringing people together of all ages and backgrounds to teach, empower, and cultivate harmonious earth-based living.

While we know this venture will not be without its challenges, we are prepared to see our vision come to life. A mid-size travel trailer can provide us with some comforts of home and just enough space to make this radical shift in the direction of our dreams. It will be our dwelling for an indefinite period of time, as we work toward building a more sustainable future.

We welcome any contribution or sponsorship, no matter how small, to support the development of our plans. Donations will help cover material & travel expenses for workshops, cost of camper and gas + basic needs during the natural home build training programs.
