Garfield Students are Stewards
What Do You See in the Near Future?
What do our students see in theirs? Who will they be? How will they utilize the earth's resources?
Fifth grade is a unique time, where students learn that our beautiful earth has finite resources and requires our stewardship.
Students learn this lesson firsthand through San Mateo Outdoor Education, a four night/five day adventure in environmental science.
This educational camp is made possible only through grants and community partnerships with caring neighbors like you.
Would you consider partnering with us? We are raising funds for:
-bus transportation
-registration cost ($275 per student)
-winter coats, sweaters, scarves, & beanies
Thank you for supporting our 63 students through the years, and for helping us deepen the meaning of school success!
Grateful for you and for our planet,
Enrique Calderón & Ko Kim
