Help Theo get the surgery to save his life
Donation protected
Hi there, this is a go fund me to get our 2 year old Dalmatian, Theo surgery to save his life. Dalmatians are prone to bladder stones. He just had surgery mid December and his food was switched to a prescription diet for urinary health. We thought we were out of the woods and our boy would be healthy and happy from there on out!! However yesterday he started displaying signs of stones again and not being able to urinate and hunched over in pain! Today the vet drained 400ml of urine and he is steadily refilling so tomorrow I have to call around to get emergency surgery! I have never asked for help before and I hate asking, however if we don’t come up with the funds we may have to rehome him and I can’t stand that thought! We also have his sister and I am sure she will go into depression from the loss of him! My heart is so broken! We are hoping we can find a no profit vet or discounted rate as I simply just do not have another $4000 to drop tomorrow. Apparently he needs to be put on allopurinol and the original vet never mentioned this to us! It keeps the stones from growing and dissolves them. Out of every dog we have ever had, Theo is the most gentle and loving dog there is. We don’t want to have to rehome him and separate him and his biological sister from each other. All funds will go towards his veterinary bills. I sincerely appreciate any help and thank you from the bottom of my heart!
