Theo's Medical Fund

Theo Reyes was born with some health struggles that immediately resulted in air transport to Phoenix Children's Hospital after birth and have since required ongoing medical testing, specialist visits, and medical therapies. While Theo's complete list of diagnoses are uncertain, he has been diagnosed with right sided facial palsy, possible right sided hearing loss, and food/liquid aspiration. Theo has a feeding tube placed in his nose and is currently being evaluated and treated by a comprehensive medical team to determine the extent of his condition and the most appropriate treatment approach. Accompanied by his family, he is attending almost weekly doctor and therapy visits in Phoenix (a 1.5-2 hour drive one way). Upcoming tests and treatments for little T Man include potential stimulation therapy to help with swallowing (4 days a week for 6-8 weeks), a brain MRI, and continued follow up visits and speech therapy. The Reyes family (Carlos, Jahzel, Lucas, and Theo) has been a great encouragement to those around them as they demonstrate faith in our great Lord through their love and care for Theo. But, as you can imagine, the repeated drives to Phoenix and the regular medical visits can become exhausting and costly.
