Theodore's Very Expensive Top Surgery Travel Fund

Hello friends, family, and people who have come across this fundraiser. I finally have my Top Surgery date and it's coming up soon!! JULY 21st, 2021

I started the whole process to get my top surgery back in March 2019. It has been such a long long wait and hard work.  For most of the last two years I've been unemployed and largely focusing on my health and getting myself into the best physical and mental shape before this major surgery. Top surgery will relieve a ton of dysphoria that I feel everyday and relieve some of the physical pain that comes along with binding my chest everyday. This surgery will change my life and I need a bit of your help to get there. 

The surgery will be in Montreal, Quebec and I am currently living in Halifax,  Nova Scotia. The cost of the actual surgery is totally covered by MSI, but I will have to come up with the other expenses such as roundtrip flights for me and my caregiver, medical supplies, food and comfort items, emergency fund in case one of us gets Covid-19 and we have to quarantine in Montreal, and also a fund to cover the costs if we have to quarantine when we arrive back in Halifax after my surgery.  

After my surgery I will be able to claim the cost of the flights and I will be donating that refund back to someone else's Gofundme.  I am prioritizing trans BIPOC youth.
