Theology of the Body Certification

For those that don't know me I'm Michelle and I'm on the path to becoming certified to teach the Catholic Church's teaching on sex and marriage, better known as the Theology of the Body. I began taking classes at the TOB Institute in June of 2015 and I'm just weeks away from taking my 6th (out of 8) courses to complete this certification. The certification is not mandatory but this is something I feel called to obtain. Ever since I first read Theology of the Body for Beginners by Christopher West, I knew my life was just completely changed and transformed (for the better!) Needless to say, it's been quite the journey.

I think we can all agree that our world is in desperate need of a proper understanding of sex and marriage and babies and relationships. This is especially evident with the recent clergy abuse crisis going on right now.  Through much prayer and discernment, I feel called to do whatever I can to help. And for me, that means public speaking. 

This is where my GoFundMe page comes in: I'm not good at asking for money. But you know what I am good at? Talking. God gave me the gift of gab and I have been trying to use it to do my best to give anyone with ears to hear, but especially the "young" people of our generation, an introduction to TOB. I can do this much more effectively when I have the full certification.  

To be clear - This money is going directly towards the tuition for the 3 courses I have left.  This isn't going towards a new wardrobe for myself or something frivolous.  (Anyone who knows me knows I consider shopping at TJ Maxx as "splurging").

If you cannot give financially, I simply ask for your prayers. I know God is faithful and He always provides. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for whatever you give. I promise you I will continue to use the knowledge I've obtained from the 5 courses I've already taken to promote the Catholic Church's teachings on human sexuality and always to speak the truth in love. I have seen firsthand and experienced how the power of the Gospel works in everyday lives.  TOB changes lives because it changes hearts. I'm a living testament to that and I would love to give this gift of transformation to others, with God's help, as best as I am able.
