A little about me…

I’m 52 years old, I am a huge animal lover, I love helping people, I am a liberal who believes we should love our neighbors and that we should let people be who they are. I believe most people are good at heart and will always help others when they can.

My situation…

Two years ago, I made the absolutely terrifying decision to leave an abusive relationship and go out on my own for the first time in my entire life. To get far away from that person, I moved to a new city. I believed that any struggle I would go through would be better than where I was. While that’s still true, I have found myself at rock bottom. I am normally a happy, positive, upbeat person but I have had so many bad things happen this year that a friend of mine recently said “It’s like you have a black cloud over your head.” That is exactly how it feels. Sudden loss of income, death of three of my fur babies, loss of two friends, car problems, being the victim of a conman etc. The list is long. Yes, I know everyone goes through hard times but this year has literally been a snowball of bad things. Almost daily. Today I am facing homelessness. After having a meltdown over the past few days, I decided to get on here and ask for grace. For hope. For a chance to breathe again. Right now I am about to lose everything I have fought so hard for. My apartment, my car, my two senior cats I’ve had for 12 years, my credit and everything I own. This is quite literally, my last hope. Like I said, I hate asking for help. I am swallowing my pride and praying for a miracle.
