Dreaming of Baby
Donation protected
Kyhle and I have been trying to become parents for over 4 years now. We always knew we wanted to have a large, happy family. Kyhle told me when we were dating that he wanted his own baseball team. :) We have been through multiple fertility treatments, surgery, and testing, and were blessed with the opportunity to do in vitro fertilization (IVF) in October, resulting in our first positive pregnancy! We were shocked, thrilled, excited, scared, and just so grateful.
Sadly, that pregnancy ended in miscarriage 5 weeks later, and now we are back to where we started. We have done more genetic tests, and found that I have a blood clotting disorder, and something called adenomyosis, causing me to not be able to carry our baby to term. Now that both of those issues are being treated correctly, we know that IVF is our best option for expanding our family.
However, we need your help. I also have something called low ovarian reserve, which is where I was born with fewer eggs than most women, causing me to run out much sooner, and resulting in early menopause. Our doctor has told us if we still want to have children, we need to start now and be as proactive as possible. Also, I have some insurance coverage for some of our IVF and medications, but it will end on my next birthday in July. We are definitely feeling the pressure of time running against us.
We know that infertility is a horrible disease, and unfortunately, 1 in 8 couples suffer from it. We know there are others who are in the same position as we are in, and that makes us all the more grateful for your loving, generous donations, and willingness to help us. Any and every amount helps us get closer to our goal, turning our lifelong dream in to reality.
Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts.
