Therapy Dog Community Work
Donation protected
Please meet Riley. Riley is my nine-year-old 75-pound golden doodle who has brought love, joy, and comfort to countless people through his therapy dog work. He has been a therapy dog for over five years and has volunteered in various places and situations, from babies, small children in schools, seniors in Hospice, and travelers at the airport. By nature, he is kind, loving, and so sweet. We call him our "gentle giant."
Within the last couple of months, Riley has developed a tumor on the left side of his nose that has migrated down into his upper jaw. I consulted with four different surgeons on how to treat his condition best. They all told us the same thing; Moderately resect the tumor with narrow margins. Our goal is to preserve Riley's quality of a happy life so he can continue to do the work he loves for as long as possible...serving people.
Riley had surgery at the University of MN on July 8. His surgery, CT scan, consultations, and aftercare cost $7,084. Your donations will help fund this so Riley can continue serving his community by doing the work he is naturally good at. Riley and I thank you for considering this mission. Warmest wishes from Riley, his family, and all his loved ones.
Riley is now recovering at home.
