The Sock Project

My project, through socks is to help my illing self and many others living with Auto Immune and Chronic Illness. With the help of donations, I hope to help researchers find a "light filled world" for Auto Immune illness.  At 28 I had to leave my job as a teacher and place my studies on hold for my dream as a Priest because of my illness. I'm now 30 and still have not returned to work. I live with continued pain, mobility issues and a recent diagnosis of vision issues. Many people suffer Auto Immune and many of us have to leave our dream jobs to live on disability. Yet in this time I found The Sock Project: asking for fun silly socks to get me through a tough time. I received thousands and now I pass the socks onto people suffering illness to brighten their day. With the help of sock companies I'm designing socks for people to purchase that money will go into research too!
