Theresa Najdowski Barker

Hi, my name is Michelle Barker. I met Theresa when I married into the Barker family in 2005. Theresa was such a strong and independent woman, who didn’t take crap from no one. She would always tell you what was on her mind and didn’t shy away from telling someone they were wrong! She was kind and welcoming to anyone who stepped in her door. She even allowed me to stay with her when I first moved to Illinois from Georgia! She absolutely loved her granddaughters, Shyanne and Shauna, and her grandson Nicholas. She would play dress up, board games, babysitting and more with them. They were her joy to be around. Theresa moved to Mississippi with Kathy in 2019 to get help with doctor’s appointments and medical needs. Kathy was able to help her mom live on her own for those years. Unfortunately, Theresa didn’t have any life insurance or a lot of money saved up to help with her funeral cost. The family is in need to help with this. Whatever you can give to help relieve some of the stress of losing your parent suddenly. Our prayers and thoughts go out to Vince, Kathy and their families during this time.

There is no funeral but a celebration of life will follow soon. This GofundMe is just to help with the cremation cost.
