Theresa Snipes Car Accident Recovery

Theresa is currently in an inpatient rehab facility. She is undergoing 24/7 care and daily orthopedic, speech, respiratory, and ADL rehabilitation.

Theresa Snipes was in a horrific car accident on January 4, 2024 after leaving bible study. After being flown by helicopter to the hospital, it was discovered she broke both of her femurs, patella, tibia, and suffered multiple broken ribs, along with abdominal and bowel perforations. She has already had two surgeries, multiple blood transfusions and is in the intensive care unit for monitoring.

Theresa (Terry) values her religion and her church group, Hope Lutheran Church, as well as painting, puzzles, and spending time with her cat, Blackie. Theresa is a very kind-hearted woman, and has been known to give her last dollar to those in need.

Theresa is a fiercely independent woman by nature and highly values her independence in order to maintain a high quality life. The goal for her recovery is for her to rehabilitate to a level of independence so she can continue doing the things she loves. Any donations received will go towards medical bills, bills while she is in the hospital, car payment, rehabilitation, special transportation services, DME, in-home care, and pet care.
