The Scouse Fundraiser

Hi everyone, I’m on a mission to raise £10,000.00 to help tackle child poverty, support local Foodbanks and protect the most vulnerable people in the city of Liverpool. Pretty much all of my adult life has been spent in Tory Austerity, living through cut after cut, whilst all the time the gap between the poor and the rich grows further each day. The pandemic has worsened this situation beyond belief, forcing more and more families beneath the breadline. How is it acceptable for there to be over 4 million children living in poverty in one of the richest countries in the world? How is it acceptable that we, as a country, need over 2000 foodbanks to feed our most vulnerable? The answer is it’s not acceptable and I want to do my bit to help our most vulnerable.
