These girls can, girl power !

Hi

My name is Jonathan, and I am the coach of Highnam Girls U14'S. I will be running the Two Tunnels half marathon in Bath on Sunday, 27th February 2022. We are the only girl's team in Gloucestershire playing exclusively in a boys football league. We want to take our lovely girls to compete at the end of season tournament in Bournemouth. Unfortunately, due to Covid 19, our original fundraising plans were dashed. Therefore I'll be putting my trainers on for a dash around Bath to raise funds to make this weekend accessible for all of our girls.

This is our third season as a team competing in a boys league. We are self-funded. We aim to develop girls and open up opportunities that are often exclusive to boys. Coming to the end of our third season, we are very proud to have had nine girls progress into academies at professional football clubs.
