"Hey, it's Snake!"

At the time of this writing, I am at a crossroads.

I have recently completed a Bachelor of Arts in Music, and ideally this would lead me to greener pastures. Even though the creative arts are a viciously competitive field, a four-year degree on its own should afford me greater opportunities outside of that as well.

But that's the key word: It SHOULD. The reality is that the job market is in a state of greater disarray than it has ever been, and while in the 2000s I likely would have had a stable job by now, in the 2020s such prospects are next to impossible. I have submitted 220 job applications and counting, and have received not even a single job offer to show for it.

Fortunately, in the background, I have been laying the foundation for an alternate path. My creative pursuits go beyond the formal training I have received in college, and for the past 5 years, I have been pursuing the creation of VTuber content as Snake Stelleo, as well as the production and release of music as St4bility. It has been a dream of mine for all of that time, and I have a larger portfolio of work than any resume could ever convey:

And in the current state of the job market, this feels more strongly like the most feasible option by the second.

I have GoFundMe's automated goal feature enabled, so the goal will steadily increase as funding is received, but this campaign's final goal of $70K will be enough for me to support a full-time pursuit of content creation for a year, give or take some time.

I am doing this because of the aforementioned state of the job market, as well as the fact that I have experience working dead-end jobs in some of the most derelict parts of my local area, and I would rather not have to fall back on that approach again as a last resort.

In return for the funding of this campaign, I hope to deliver thoughtfully produced video and livestream content on Snake Stelleo, as well as music designed to take you on a journey on St4bility, on a consistent basis. And in general, I will double down on efforts to grow my online presence such that when the resources generated by this campaign are expended, I will be able to continue to sustain my creative pursuits on their own.

Additionally, this campaign will fund "The Art of Music," an online course where I teach some of the most valuable lessons I have learned from the 10+ years I have been creating music, with the goal of elevating the consciousness of musicians and listeners alike.
