Dear Friends,
We are Cody and Ashley Swoboda, full-time Master of Divinity students at Asbury Theological Seminary and part-time Pastors within the United Methodist Church. More than four years ago we discerned a stirring from the Lord to consider the possibility of growing our family through adoption. Today, after two years of intentionally preparing our hearts for such an adventure and lifelong commitment, we are filled with so much hope and gratitude as we begin that very process.
This summer we hope to permanently welcome our three beautiful nieces into our hearts and home, and to raise them as our very own daughters.
And so, we are humbly requesting your financial support. At this point the estimated costs for the adoption itself will easily total approximately $10-15,000. Additionally, with us currently residing in Kentucky and the girls being in Florida, we anticipate travel and moving costs to run in the $3-5,000 range.
$15,000 (fees) + $5,000 (travel & moving) = $20,000 (Total)
As graduate students living on a very meager salary, we recognize that this endeavor will only be made possible by the providence of God and the generosity of individuals like you. And so we must ask: would you please consider making a donation? No contribution is too small or insignificant in our eyes. Whether it's $5 or $500, your gift will truly help to change lives.
