The Warehouse Rocks, a 501 (c)3 Non-Profit Organization, is a Music & Arts based Youth Community Center located in Howell, MI. We are founded under the mission:
TO PROVIDE A SAFE, INSPIRING ENVIRONMENT FOR THE YOUTH OF OUR COMMUNITY TO EXPLORE AND GROW IN THE AREAS OF MUSIC AND ART ~ A PLACE TO COME TOGETHER, SHARE THEIR TALENTS, COLLABORATE WITH PROFESSIONALS AND FUEL THEIR PASSIONS TO PURSUE A LIFE OF CREATIVITY.
As parents of teenagers who play rock music (not sports), the founders of The Warehouse Rocks have realized that the school system does not offer afterschool activities for the "creative kids". There is no place for them to Be Themselves, Get Inspired and be surrounded by other "creatives".
Our kids come home from school and play music alone in the basement. There has to be an alternative.
We know there are a ton of other parents in Livingston County that feel the same way we do. The need to support the interests of our children, help them grow to be amazing human beings and fuel their passions, has come to the forefront.
The Warehouse Rocks needs your help!
To be able to open for Summer 2016, so our kids have a safe place to be during the summer, we are asking for your donation. no matter how small or large, every donation makes a difference.
