My name is John Tuyizere Heritier, I live on the outskirts of Kampala in Uganda and I have dedicated my life to caring for 16 incredible children who have no one else to turn to. These kids have faced hardships no child should ever experience—hunger, homelessness, and the harsh reality of life without a stable home. But despite everything, they still hold onto their dreams, their laughter, and their hope for a better future. I do everything I can to provide them with food, shelter, and education, but the truth is—I can’t do it alone. Every day is a battle to keep a roof over their heads and food on their plates. Rent is overdue, and we are struggling to cover the basic needs that so many take for granted.
