Dear supporters,

Hello, I am tamer from Gaza.

I am 21 years old. I graduated from university with a major in Pharmacy. I had a family, a beautiful house, and I had a job.

Since the beginning of the war, I lost my home, I lost my job, and we became homeless

Despite my feeling of shame, I had to write this letter after great confusion and hesitation

I am writing to share our family's story from Gaza. Following recent bombings, our house, which was home to nine individuals, including eight adults and a child, has been completely destroyed. Currently, we are living in Rafah city, residing in a tent without access to basic necessities such as food and water.

We are seeking assistance for our family in Gaza. The government has requested US$5000 per person to facilitate our exit through the crossing. While this is a substantial amount, any contribution, regardless of size, would be greatly appreciated.

Your generosity and prayers mean a great deal to us during this difficult period. Thank you for keeping all those affected by the conflict in your thoughts.

This is our life and our daily suffering in the simplest things؛

The funds raised will be used for the following purposes:

$40,000 to pay fees for 8 people evacuation and transportation from Gaza to Cairo.

As for the rest can be divided as follows:

•For shelter and rent in Egypt.

•Basic necessities.

•GoFundMe taxes.

•Opening a simple commercial project to meet basic needs and provide income for the family

• Belgian bank taxes, transfer commission to Gaza

❗️The most pressing goal is to raise money for the evacuation, and save us from death, but I would be happy to be as transparent as possible about the fact that after the evacuation we will need that extra money to start over our lives in Egypt.

منذ بداية الحرب، فقدت منزلي، ووظيفتي، وأصبحنا بلا مأوى

ورغم شعوري بالخجل، إلا أنني اضطررت إلى كتابة هذه الرسالة بعد حيرة وتردد كبيرين

أكتب لأشارككم قصة عائلتنا من غزة. في أعقاب التفجيرات الأخيرة، تم تدمير منزلنا بالكامل، والذي كان يسكنه تسعة أفراد، من بينهم ثمانية بالغين وطفل. نعيش حاليًا في مدينة رفح، ونقيم في خيمة دون إمكانية الحصول على الضروريات الأساسية مثل الطعام والماء.

نحن نسعى للحصول على المساعدة لعائلتنا في غزة. طلبت الحكومة مبلغ 5000 دولار أمريكي للشخص الواحد لتسهيل خروجنا عبر المعبر. ورغم أن هذا مبلغ كبير، إلا أن أي مساهمة، بغض النظر عن حجمها، ستكون موضع تقدير كبير.

إن كرمكم وصلواتكم تعني الكثير بالنسبة لنا خلال هذه الفترة الصعبة. شكرًا لك على إبقاء جميع المتأثرين بالنزاع في أفكارك.
