They say it comes in threes..

I didn’t want to have to write this.. everyone was so generous after the loss of my youngest brother last January and then again after the loss of my Dad last November. But they say it comes in threes.
For those of you who don’t know, my Mother, Karen StAmant (Newman) unexpectedly passed away this past Sunday. I was under the impression that she had life insurance but it looks like she let it lapse when she ran into some financial difficulties recently.
I don’t want anyone to feel obligated to send anything. I know times are tough right now so please only contribute if you feel comfortable in doing so. We will appreciate anything at all that will help to cushion the blow.
We are going to keep the service very simple to keep costs down. It is what she wanted of us, she made sure we knew this after our Dad passed. Actually, with her dark humor and selflessness she said something along the lines of “toss my body in the woods for all I care”. We won’t be doing that.
We do however want to give her a send off she deserves. She was one of the most caring and loving people I know. Always putting everyone else before herself and going above and beyond to make sure all of her family was provided for. She cared for people for a living.. touching so many lives as a caregiver. It’s our turn to take care of her now.
As soon as the arrangements are firm I will post to her Facebook page with the information but it is looking like it will be this coming Sunday. We thank you all for the love and support during this very tragic time.
