Please read full update below.
My name is Steven Pope. I am a Senior Constable based out of Narre Warren Police Station. My registered number is 39661.
Those who know me know that I have always gone above and beyond to help those in need.
I currently am campaigning to raise $500,000 for each family who lost their loved ones while serving the community.
On Wednesday the 22nd of April 2020, four Police Officers tragically lost their lives whilst serving the community.
The members were killed on the Eastern Freeway after a routine intercept when a truck collided with the members.
This is a brutal reminder of the danger Police face in the course of their service, every minute of every shift.
Whilst we mourn their loss, we grieve with their families and colleagues.
Whilst money can never replace a lost loved one, the financial stresses can take their toll.
My goal is to raise $2 MILLION. $500,000 for each family.
I have previously raised money for the Good Friday Appeal through "Bucks For Bubs" which is an organisation my ex-wife and I created where we raised just shy of $40,000 in the first year.
This is not a scam, this is just someone trying to help out fellow members and their families.
The money will be given to each family for them to do what they want with it.
