Things have come full Circle for Kasey and I.…

Things come full circle! I’m raising funds for a very special client Kasey Prostler, who passed away yesterday from Gastric Cancer. Kasey loved and lived on Hunter Mountain NY and she was “a mountain woman”. She was kind, funny and loved her dogs. Kasey had no life insurance and no savings. She was disabled. I’m doing this to help raise funds for the family to help with the costs of death.

Some time after we met we were talking about her childhood Her parents had sent her to live with her aunt and uncle in Copake. I grew up in Copake and couldn’t believe it because we never met. Kasey shared that she dropped out of school and stayed in the house. Her aunt was not a good aunt to her but her uncle was very good to her and Kasey loved him.

When I was 13 I was diagnosed with severe Scoliosis and needed surgery. My mom was told to ‘Find a Shriner” in order to sponsor me to go to The Shriners Hospital in Springfield Ma. and so she did; right in Copake.

It was Kasey’s uncle who was “My Shriner”. So we have come full circle. Her uncle took care of me and then I took good care of her. I loved her very much.
