Think PINK presents EVIL DEAD
Donation protected
Hello theatre lovers!
Think PINK Productions is looking for people who love finding ways to support theatre that transports you- specifically, the kind of theatre that offers you an experience you just can't get in a normal season!
Putting together a show like this is no small feat- in fact, while many theatres and thespians WANT to do this show, it's difficult to produce because of the many and very specific technical demands. Our tech team has been working since August of 2017 to build all of the mechanisms, props and costumes designed to titilate an audience who is looking for a strange and special night of theatre. But now, we need YOUR help!
Now OBVIOUSLY you can show your support by purchasing a ticket to come and see "Evil Dead," which plays February 23-25, 2018 at Studio 321 in Evansville. The link to the facebook event with all the information you'll need to attend the show is located
here: https://www.facebook.com/events/406587956427734/ .
Coming to see the show is one way to show support, but we're also fundraising to make sure our show is going to meet all the hype! We want to ask our community to help us produce this show by financially contributing to it- no amount is too small. The money you send our way will be utilized to buy and build all of the tech involved in the show (which we don't want to give away because of show spoilers, but it involves a variety of ways to launch blood at actors and audience, rigging puppets, chainsaws, mixing massive quantities of washable blood... you get the idea), and we want to show you our appreciation for your support!
Are you down for supporting this project, but want to learn more about us? Maybe you've heard of Think PINK Productions before, or maybe we're brand new to you. Here's some information about us pulled straight from our website: "Think PINK is an Evansville-based theatre production company, dedicated to bringing new, under-produced, and challenging shows to local audiences. Our shows are produced to challenge performers and audience members alike. The Think PINK team is a driving force for theatrical innovation in Evansville- championing diverse, and socially significant works; creating vibrant theatrical experiences; and fiercely supporting the passion of artists, young and young at heart.
We are founded on the principle that excellent theatre is created by playing positive intentions. We’re here to create theatre that will inspire audiences, actors and technicians by upholding professional standards, emphasizing the importance of ensemble support, and dedicating ourselves to the pursuit of truthful, innovative storytelling.
Think PINK Productions was the recipient of the 2017 Celebration of Leadership Award in the Arts Business category for their work on 'Falsettos,' the staged reading of 'The Taming,' and their commitment to The Ghostlight Project.'"
