"Thirst Trap" A Short Film

Thirst Trap is an action rom/com short film.

At its core, Thirst Trap is about two outsiders, Hugo and Amelia, finding a connection in the unlikeliest of places. It’s a uniquely funny and exciting story that you don’t really see get made today. In a world of short films that take themselves too seriously, our story promises to be something fresh. Thirst Trap is an ambitious but moving romantic comedy that races along with pulpy fight scenes and characters we know you’ll fall in love with.

Our team is a group of extremely passionate filmmakers that have been cutting their teeth on shorts, music videos and commercials, always seeking to push themselves and their projects to new heights. Thirst Trap is a project we’ve all lived with for years - we’ve been waiting for the right time to do this wonderful story justice and we feel that we’re at the point now where we can actually pull it off. So far we’ve managed to secure £8,000 towards funding Thirst Trap, and we believe with an extra push we’ll be able to deliver a finished product worthy of the exciting and heartfelt script.

Reaching this target means "Thirst Trap" gets made. This fund covers general location use, equipment rental, crew travel and food for the days we’ll be shooting.

This will enable us to upgrade our camera and lens choices, along with giving us access to bigger lights for the exterior fight sequences.

This dream goal gives us the opportunity for longer rehearsal periods for the fight sequences with a professional stunt performer, as well as a larger budget for the SFX/VFX and props.
