This beautiful family needs our help.

My name is Nikki Redman

In 26th of September 2022 our cousins, Rebecca (Bec), Koe and 9 year old Alya had their world turned upside down, with Bec (only 33) suffering a transverse myelitis attack and being diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis.

Sadly this incurable illness has affected them in many ways, including loss of body function, pain fatigue, not being able to do this things she’d normally do with Ayla (whether that be a normal walk to the beach) the stress on not being able to work, which has caused much financial stress, along with the many trips to Adelaide for medical appointments a d treatments, with Koe having to take time off as well to get Bec to these appointments, this has caused much mental anguish and stress.

This fundraiser is to provide much needed support and care for this beautiful young family, who have always given love and support to others, even in her own stress Bec continues to try to help others.

This will help ease the financial stress and help them get the tools and adjustments to the house etc to give Bec a better quality of life, and help her to still enjoy having fun and try to do things with her daughter whilst she still can.

After many months of treatment Bec still relies on crutches, sometimes a chair/ frame to move, when she has the energy to do so, she’s a fighter and tries hard to stay positive even though the pain and fatigue, she’s such a light hearted, positive and determined person.
