This budgie can’t eat seed and needs help

Hi, my name is Vonnie and due to a very tight budget, I am trying to raise funds to get this budgie’s very overgrown beak trimmed. This is a lost budgie whom I am looking after until I can locate the owner. Unfortunately, due to his very overgrown beak he is unable to eat seed. He is currently drinking water, and I am feeding him wet mushy Weet-Bix and mashed banana. But for a full, happy life, he needs his beak trimmed ASAP. He is very tame and I give him lots of time outside of the cage. I don’t want to surrender him to the RSPCA, as they won’t give him the love and quality time outside of the cage that he deserves. I have rung lots of vets and most don’t do budgie beak trims. The ones that do only do it under a general anaesthetic, and they charge around $250 for the procedure. Obviously, this procedure needs to be done ASAP. Even if you can only afford two dollars, your donation will be very gratefully received. Thank you!
