This Champion for Human Rights Needs Our Help

On Friday 9 March Keith walked into an Emergency Room seeking some professional help (such as x-rays) to diagnose excruciating pain in shoulders neck and back from what he thought were skeletal problems.
Instead the ER doctors discovered pulmonary embolisms (blood clots) in his lymphatic and circulatory systems. The left side of his heart was swollen, and breathing was difficult. The doctors treated him minimally and told him to see an oncologist.
On Friday 5 April the symptoms had returned and Keith returned to the ER. This time the doctors were more specific: there was a massive blood clot in his left subclavian vein.
Keith needs urgent medical attention to treat the root cause of these health problems. This requires immediate triage care and comprehensive support at a specialized clinic.
More than anything, he prays that he can at least be around until his son turns 18.
It is not every day that you meet a person like Keith Harmon Snow. Keith is someone who has traveled the world—not just physically, but intellectually and spiritually. What many admire most about Keith is his willingness to do what he believes to be right, even if it means he will stand alone.
Keith has been a champion for human rights and the rights of children around the world and here in the United States. He has testified in numerous trials on behalf of destitute refugees, and at certain international courts of justice
As a friend, Keith is someone who shows up with full force when you need him. He is always available to lend a hand. He is a devoted and loving father to his 10 year old son Birch, the love of his life - and my oldest daughter's best friend.
Keith’s journey with cancer began in 2017. Trying naturopathic ways, he initially met with some success, and the high costs of the alternative therapies were prohibitive. Now he needs more advanced help due to complications. Together, we can help get Keith the treatments he needs. Today, the man who has shown up to help so many others is in need of help himself. The treatments that would make a difference for him (and related costs) will cost $55,000.
