'This Girl' - The Cynthia Lennon Story

Donation protected

The year is 1957, the place is Hope Street Liverpool. A 17-year-old boy meets an 18-year-old girl. They fall in love.

This is their story, and now you can be a part of it.

This play captures the love that John and Cynthia had for each other as teenagers, it then goes on to show how Beatlemania destroyed their marriage. There are 8 brand-new songs performed by a live band. More details next week.

After several very successful theatre performances at the Hope Street Theatre and the Valley Theatre in Liverpool, This Girl - The Cynthia Lennon Story, is ready to take the world by storm, beginning with its London premiere at 'Upstairs at the Gatehouse Theatre' during the Camden Fringe Festival, from Monday 31st July through to Wednesday 2nd August 2023. Our theatre production, tells the story of a shy girl from Hoylake, who fell in love with an art student called John Lennon. As a small theatre company, we need your help to fund the cost of costumes and props for Cynthia, John, Paul and Stuart Sutcliffe, as this is a period drama beginning in 1957! Also to cover the costs of travelling and accommodation. Thank you so much in advance.
