This is an SOS from a Band in Distress!

This is Clif. Thank you for all the support.

There's now less than one month until I'm forced to put everything I own in storage and walk the streets like I did for 4 years less than a decade ago. I ended up spending most of that time in court then on probation. No songs were written. No plans were made. This time is different. The Freeze are in the midst of recording a new album titled "911 to Nowhere". We were getting ready to play out again.

I'm now into the ONE month countdown. 46 years in THE FREEZE doesn't have to end just yet! 

My entire adult life there have been times that I've been guilty of serial Self Sabotage, insufficient Impulse Control and living in the moment which has led to my lacking a plan for the future or the unexpected blows that have built up into this current mess.

While I wait for my appeal for SSI and SSDI to be decided, I've contacted the group "Music Cares" about potential financial assistance. ANYONE that's in Crisis,if you've been a part of 4 recordings, YOU may be eligible for assistance. A friend recently tipped me off about this organization. It's imperative that I pass it on to you! I happen to know a few people that were helped out by them!

But this is The Freeze...

In about a month, the day after my 63rd Birthday, my lease runs out. Not an eviction but a surprise non-renewal. Happy Fucking Birthday! I've been homeless before and I don't have the strength or the will to go through it again. 

Anyone who says that getting old 'ain't so bad' is either a trust fund baby or simply demented. My favorite saying these days is "I'm not a fan of the aging process."

Yet our 46th year can still become our 47th. None of this is insurmountable as long as I'm able to maintain some stability with a roof over my head. A 'Safe Place' to Fight Back from.

This band is all I know. I've given my life to The Freeze and, if at all possible, will continue to do so!
