Hi! I am the mom of Matthew McKinney, husband and daddy of 4 beautiful girls ages 7, 5, and 9 month old twins. Matthew was a police officer in Aztec and Farmington. In March of 2022 Doctors found a grapefruit size mass in his right upper lung, which required the removal of the upper right lobe. On April 7 2022 he was diagnosed with mesothelioma, a very aggressive form of lung cancer. He now is unable to work due to the very aggressive treatments he has to receive every 3 weeks for the next 2 years. He is horribly fatigued and in excruciating pain constantly. His oncologists has recommend that he not work as to not enhance the side effects of his treatment. They are struggling to make ends meet at this time as disability benefits have still not started. They have rent, car payments, utilities, and basic human needs our entire family would greatly appreciate any help with at this time. I thank everyone in advance for any amount of help and you donate.
