Through the generous donations of more than 400 Canadians spread across our great nation, who are affectionately known as "Dream Team Canada," a patriotic bilingual song "This Is My Canada / Mon cher Canada," and an accompanying HD music video have come to life.

The project features vocalists who have accrued 6 Grammy awards and 13 Juno awards combined. The result is an emotionally-charged audio/visual presentation that exudes compelling anthem-like qualities, combined with exhilarating and stunning visuals of the vast Canadian landscape.

Belleville, Ontario-based Acadian singer-songwriter/keynote speaker Jeanette Arsenault wrote the song 25 years ago says, “My aunt Angele, who was my idol and an accomplished songwriter always encouraged me to launch this song nationally." Throughout her career Arsenault has performed this song for HRH Queen Elizabeth II and at the Olympic games in Salt Lake City & Athens Greece, for the PanAm Games Torch Relay, as VIA Rail Artist on Board across Western Canada, to name a few.

Through an introduction to New Brunswick-based songwriter Don Coleman, the plan to record the song and create a music video was born. He organized the multiple award-winning team and produced the song and HD music video, that are being released during Canada's 150th birthday celebration. Coleman says, "to assemble a team of this calibre for my first project as a music and video producer, is an absolute dream come true." As project manager Coleman has handled a vast array of responsibilities from inception to launch, that helped the project to come to fruition in an organized and timely manner. Over the years he has been endorsed by Gordon Lightfoot, acknowledged by the Jeff Healey Estate, President Bill Clinton, The Duke & Duchess of Cambridge and recognized on AC/DC's official website.

The song features an All-Canadian cast known as "Dream Team Canada Singers," that includes five time Grammy award-winner and Juno award-winning vocalist David Clayton-Thomas (Blood, Sweat & Tears), multiple Juno award-winner and Grammy award-winner (in collaboration with the song Tears Are Not Enough) Liberty Silver, Juno award winning recording artist Wilfred LeBouthillier from Tracadie, NB, and the eight time Juno award-winning and Canadian Country Music Hall of Fame inductees, The Good Brothers. The fabulous children's choir called, "Young Singers," directed by Anna Lynn Murphy also participated on the song and brought magnificent multicultural voices, energy and dynamic to the project. The recording also includes vocal performances by Jeanette Arsenault and Don Coleman.

Some of Canada's finest session musicians; Al Cross (Big Sugar, Ian Tyson, Great Big Sea), Russ Boswell (Corey Hart, Seals & Crofts, Holly Cole) and Richard Evans (Rita McNeil, Alan Frew, Billy Newton-Davis), delivered stellar performances on the track. Coleman says, "being surrounded by such an astounding group of talent is a dream come true, for all of the right reasons."

A very special appearance by 12 year old Malakai Daybutch, one of Canada's brilliant and sought-after traditional indigenous dancers, created magic. His presence, spirit, friendship and contribution were riveting and emotional.

In the spirit of all things Canadian, both Arsenault and Coleman are community-minded and have a lengthy history of raising funds for deserving causes and organizations. An exciting partnership has developed as testament to their philosophy of giving back, that is close to their hearts. They say, "we are thrilled that our project is a proud supporter of The Children's Wish Foundation of Canada and we are honoured to be associated with this exceptional Canadian organization." The fundraising initiative will strive to raise dollars on multiple levels, including via sales of the song.

Grâce aux dons généreux de plus de 400 Canadiens répartis à travers notre beau pays, qui sont affectueusement connus sous le nom de « Équipe de rêves Canada », une chanson nationale bilingue « Mon Cher Canada / This is My Canada », jumelée à une vidéoclip HD, ont vu le jour. Le projet met en vedette des artistes qui ont accumulé plus de 6 prix Grammy et 13 prix Juno combinés. Le résultat est une présentation audio-visuelle prenante qui dégage des attributs incontestables d’un hymne national, combinée à des visuels exaltants et remarquables du vaste paysage canadien.

Jeanette Arsenault de Belleville, auteure-compositrice et conférencière, a écrit la chanson il y a 25 ans. Elle nous dit « Ma tante Angèle, auteure-compositrice accomplie était mon idole et elle m’a toujours encouragé de lancer cette chanson à la grandeur du pays. Tout au long de sa carrière, Arsenault a interprété cette chanson sur le HRD Queen Elizabeth II et aux Jeux olympiques de Salt Lake City et d’Athènes en Grèce, pour le relais du flambeau aux Jeux panaméricains, en tant qu’artiste à bord de VIA Rail à travers l’Ouest canadien, pour ne nommer que quelques-uns.

Grâce à une rencontre avec l’auteur-compositeur Don Coleman du Nouveau-Brunswick, le plan d’enregistrer cette chanson et de créer un vidéoclip est né. Il a rassemblé une équipe primée et a produit la chanson et le vidéoclip HD, qui sera relâché au cours des célébrations du 150e anniversaire du Canada. Coleman mentionne « Pour réunir une équipe de ce calibre comme premier projet en tant que producteur de musique et vidéo, est un rêve devenu réalité ». En tant que directeur de projet, Coleman a géré un large éventail de responsabilités de la création au lancement, ce qui a permis au projet de se réaliser de façon ordonnée et en temps voulu. Coleman mentionne “Être entouré par un groupe aussi talentueux est un rêve devenu réalité pour toutes les bonnes raisons”.

Un invité bien spécial de 12 ans, Malakai Daybutch, un des brillants canadiens recherché pour ses danses traditionnelles amérindiennes, a créé un moment magique. Sa présence, son énergie, sa chaleur humaine et sa contribution ont été fascinants et remplis de belles émotions.

Dans le pur esprit canadien, Arsenault et Coleman sont axés vers le bien de la communauté et possède un long carnet de route au niveau des collectes de fonds pour servir des causes et organismes humanitaires. Un partenariat unique s’est développé basé sur leur philosophie de redonner, qui est tout près de leurs cœurs. Ils mentionnent « Nous sommes enchantés que notre projet viennent en aide à la Fondation Rêves d’enfants du Canada et nous sommes honorés d’être associés avec cette organisme exceptionnel canadien ». La collecte de fonds aspire à amasser des dollars à de multiples niveaux, incluant par les ventes de la chanson.

La chanson sera bientôt disponible pour achat sur iTunes et autres sites de téléchargement de musique, mondialement. Le vidéoclip HD est disponible sur YouTube pour votre plaisir, abonnement, don et partage.
