Help for a Hero's Family

Hello, our father passed away unexpectedly on 2/24/2024. He was an Army Veteran who proudly served his country for 28 years as well as a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. Our mother is in the early stages of dementia and therefore is unable to work. Unfortunately, her recent attempts to obtain disability have been denied and we are still fighting for acceptance. Sadly, our father recently switched life insurance companies which lead to no financial help for our mother or their two grandchildren in which they've adopted. With the way the Army is set up, there is no telling when or even how much of our fathers benefits she will recieve. Upon calling we were informed that it could take a month just to recieve the application packets. At this time, she has enough in the bank for them to survive for a little under a month. After that, the future will be unclear as she waits for benefits to be deposited. We are willing to help with as much as possible it sadly will fall short of what is needed to keep them above water. The plan is to attempt to sell their house before they lose it. If monetary assistance is not an option for you at this time, prayers are gratefully accepted as well.
