My nephew & his dog lost their home in a fire!

My name is Christine Kuznezov and I am trying to raise money for my nephew Thomas whose condominium complex/unit was in a fire on Friday evening March 24, 2023 at Somerset Village off of Lawndale Drive in Greensboro NC. Thomas’s second-floor condo had been ravaged by the flames, and nothing is salvageable. They think it was multiple gas leaks from the top of the condo above the third floor that initiated the fire, but it will take weeks for him to get the final findings from the investigation.

Fortunately, my nephew went to his grandparents’ house that evening and his brother had his dog. Unfortunately for my nephew, he is only left with the clothes he had on that day, his dog and car. Everything he has worked for is gone. At this point, there is only uncertainty, shock and disbelief that something so tragic could happen and everything you’ve worked so hard for can be gone in an instant. We are so very grateful that Thomas and Max were not in the condo at that time of the fire and are safe.

One thing Thomas did mention when I asked his permission for me to open this GoFundMe page, was that any donations raised he would share half with his neighbor who is a senior citizen, whom he was close with. She also lost everything in the fire.

Thomas must now begin the painstaking process of grieving for what he had and begin on a new path of rebuilding his life and home.

Thomas has always been extremely generous with everything he has and his heart. I hope we can pull together and share with him in return during his time of need.
