Wow! What an amazing out pouring of love and support. Both coasts will now have benches in honor of Tom Cooper. Dave and I couldn’t be more touched by everyone’s generosity. I know this means so much to Tom’s family. Thank you all for making this happen.

Betsey Bolender Fraser and David Bach

With the blessing from the Cooper, Brenner and Fraser families, Dave Bach and Betsey Fraser would like to duplicate their efforts on the West Coast. In memory of our dear friend Tom Cooper, a bench at The Marina Green in San Francisco has been chosen. The site has a view from the Golden Gate Bridge to Tom’s Alma Mater, Cal Berkeley and The Campanelli.

In conjunction with the NY in-person service, a local gathering will be held at St Stephen’s Episcopal Church in Orinda There will be a live stream of Tom’s Celebration of Life on 2/12/24 at 8am PST. The live stream will take place in the Parish Fellowship Hall (it’s suggested to park in the upper lot, to avoid any preschool traffic). If you are unable to go to NYC, please join this gathering to remember our good friend, share stories and commune with others feeling this tremendous loss.

Your donation will cover fees for the bench in SF as well as the West Coast gathering. Any remaining money will be donated back to St Stephen’s who generously provided a space for us to gather.
