Thomas Burns Peace and Acceptance Scholarship Fund

It always started with a vision: the moment when Tom Burns would cross the path of a student new to his class and pause. He would look at you, a recognition sparking instantaneously in his eyes as he clearly saw who you are and the incredible change you could bring to the world around you.

Through Mr. Burns' eyes, thousands of students learned to see unique ways in which they could shape the world through their own gifts, their own authenticity. In memory of his immense legacy of social action and loving mentorship, this scholarship seeks to continue illuminating his vision of change by recognizing and supporting the continued education of young peacemakers and change agents graduating from Delaware Valley High School.
