Thomas Caines Heart Transplant

Hi! I'm Mary Shaw, one of Thomas's aunts. On May 31st Thomas went to the emergency room after weeks of not feeling well. It was discovered his heart was failing. Over the next two weeks the doctors worked to help his heart with medications, procedures, and ultimately it became clear his heart would not recover and a transplant is needed.

 

We are raising money to cover expenses related to their extended time in Nashville, medical bills and to help support Thomas and his family in the coming months. Our faith is in Christ and his provision and are grateful to each of you for your prayers, support and generosity!

 

There is a facebook group, Supporting the Caines Family, where regular updates are shared and you can post messages to Sarah, Philip, Thomas, and the family. Each one is meaningful.
