Thomas Hourin Surgery Fund

Tom Hourin is my oldest friend, fraternity brother and professional colleague.  We met in 2nd grade and have been like brothers ever since.   As long as I have known him he has had heart problems.  As a child,  they just called it tachycardia (fast heartbeat).  When he matured it became more of an issue, particularly over the past few years. Thomas is a health care professional dedicating his life to helping others.  Recently his medical problems have taken him away from his profession and the medical bills have piled up.

Tom Hourin is the kindest person I know.  He would give you the shirt off his back.  Over the past 10 years, he has been to the Mayo Clinic, the Cleveland Clinic, Emory Hospital, Mount Sinai NY and many more facilities seeking answers.  After many procedures, he has opted for a highly invasive valve repair.
