Thomas Lindenau Memorial

On February 3, my nephew, Thomas Lindenau was tragically killed in a head on collision near Langford, BC. Thomas was only 24 years old.
Thomas was truly a light in this world. He brought joy and happiness with him wherever he went. Regardless of who you were, Thomas had nothing but time and caring for you. Thomas lived his life to the fullest every day, finding the joy in the world around him. He made those around him better people.
His sudden loss has left a giant void in this world and has left his very close and loving family on the verge of destruction as they struggle to come to terms with this horrific tragedy. What's even more heart breaking is learning that the Province of BC approved funding to place barriers along the road way where Thomas was killed over 3 years ago, but this has yet to happen. These barriers would have prevented this crash, and undoubtedly would have saved Thomas' life.
I am raising money for Thomas' immediate family (my sister and her family) to help them through this tragic time. Not only are they trying to deal with the sudden loss of someone so dear, but now they are faced with memorial costs and lost income as they try to recover and resume some form of normalcy. I also want to support them as they champion the cause of pressuring the BC government to get the barriers and other solutions in place, so that others will not have to face this horrific experience.
