Thomas "Firehead" Gately: Celebration of Life
Donation protected
On Sunday, August 11, the world lost a truly great man with the sweetest soul. Our dearest friend, Thomas J. Gately, was taken from us way too soon.
Tom cared with a passion unlike anything that I have ever seen. He was excited about life, people, friends and family in a way I can hardly describe. He believed in people's dreams and would do whatever he could to help one fulfill those dreams. His contagious smile and constant glow of happiness impacted everyone he came in contact with.
Tom adored all things food- cooking, hot sauces, hot pepper competitions and reviews. He was a major part of the “Chilehead” community and helped many become a better cook. Tom constantly went above and beyond to help spread the word of his industry favorites.
Tom lived his life to the fullest and never passed up an opportunity to experience life. His pride and joy were his grandkids. He enjoyed buying fun toys for them and toys that he could play with as well; because he himself was a kid at heart. His other great love of his life was his beloved, Annabelle.
On behalf of his “Firebell” and loved ones, I would like to help give them peace of mind by asking those who are able, to help contribute financially to lessen the burden of his passing. If you are able to contribute, all funds will go to funeral expenses, medical and other outstanding bills.
Let’s take a moment to shift our thoughts from how much we will miss him to one of your own many funny, joking, laughing and happy times that you shared with him…and there were many for us all. So relive it, enjoy it, and SMILE as Tom always did. It's what he would want from us all. Please keep his loved ones in your thoughts and prayers.
