Thomas Turcotte Medical Fundraiser
Donation protected
On November 5th, Thomas Turcotte suffered a massive heart attack and was medi vac'd from Smither's Hospital to St. Paul's Hospital in Vancouver to receive medical treatment and care from a more specialized cardiologist team.
Thomas' main artery was blocked. There is fluid built up in his lungs due to the heart attack causing him difficulty breathing. The medical team attempted to insert a balloon to open the blockage but they were only able to partially open the blockage. He is currently stabilized in the hospital and will be receiving another angioplasty this week to try and unblock his main artery, and if successful they will put in a stent. There are a lot of unknowns at this time as they are treating him day by day. Considering the current situation, Thomas is in good spirits and is extremely grateful to be alive.
Thomas is a 34 year old single dad of two kids, from Fraser Lake/Vanderhoof, BC. Thomas loves the outdoors, hunting, fishing and most of all spending time with his children and family. Thomas was due to start a new job for a logging company this week, however, at this time it is uncertain how long he will remain in Vancouver and off of work. Expenses back home will begin to accumulate such as rent, utilities, insurance and basic life bills not to mention medical bills. We would like to ask for your help with alleviating financial stress so he can focus on healing and return home to his children.
We would like to express our gratitude and appreciation for all of your support, prayers and contributions. Every little bit helps.
Thank you!
