Thomas's back surgery

My name is Kyna, and I don’t like to ask for help with much, but when it comes to one of my kids I’m not too proud. My middle son, Thomas, will be a senior this coming school year. He played varsity football as a Gobbler for 2 years. He also did track and power lifting. When he started to tell me his back hurt he didn’t want to go to the doctor for fear of not being able to play. When I finally got him in and they did the MRI, it was worse than expected. He was born with congenital narrowing of the spine and has moderate stenosis of some of the vertebrae. He will be having back surgery on July 23, 2020, in Houston at the Herman Memorial Orthopedic and Spine Hospital, to remove the fragments of the protruding disc that is touching the nerves which is causing all the pain. He does have insurance but waiting on approval so not sure what it is going to cost. If you can help, anything will do. If you can’t, I ask that you just keep him in your prayers.
