THOMASLAND

I'd like to tell you about one of my bright, brilliant, creative, funny, smart, angelic students. His name is Kingston and he makes my day better, every day. In fact, he brightens the day of every single person that he encounters. Whenever I need a mood boost, I sit next to him and ask him a question, any question, and then listen to how his extraordinary brain works. I am constantly inspired by his creativity and the strength with which he tackles any life challenge that he faces. He already has deep wisdom, a great attitude, and he's inspiringly honest about his unique and incredible perspective on the world. He's magical, to be quite honest.

He's in second grade, and I learn new things from him every single day. 

He loves Thomas The Tank Engine more than anything else in this life and he's been talking about how eager he is to go to Thomas Land, while smiling so big I think his cheeks are going to split. What he doesn't know is that it's in Boston, Massachusetts...

Listen to me: this child, and this child’s family, deserve to go to Thomas Land for his birthday. I hope you'll trust me when I say that they do. Kingston will never forget a trip like this or take it for granted; his capacity for gratitude astounds me. He appreciates every single gesture, no matter how small. If I could pay for the trip myself, I'd do so in a second. But I'm a teacher, and I think you know what that means. 

Will you help me and my fantastic team of teachers send this glorious child and his wonderful family to Thomas Land for his birthday? I've factored in flights and food and a place to stay. I know we can do it and I really think we should. If you met him, you'd agree. 

His birthday was at the end of March, so we're planning this as a summer trip for his family. 

I'm already feeling like saying THANK YOU! And YAY!
