THOMSON CROSSING FIRE RELIEF FOR THE FAMILY
Donation protected
Duncan and Leena Thomson, along with their 3 beautiful children Anna (8), Abby (7) and Cooper (6) have worked so hard over the past two years to bring their dream to life and create a warm, welcoming, and helpful place in the community. Unfortunately, that dream "Thomson Crossing Community Store" of Belair, MB burnt down last night on January 4, 2023. The most important thing is that everyone is safe.
This is a total shock and devastating blow to the family and community they worked so tirelessly to support. From selling so many items from local makers, to donating at community events, to being a friendly face knowing you by name when you came in for your premium gas, your mail-order Christmas presents, the newspaper they saved for you behind the counter, or that other special item they went out of their way to order and save, just for you.
The Thomsons have gone above and beyond to serve their community and become a part of it, creating a warm welcome for all. Now it is our turn to show them what community means. The funds raised by this effort will be used to support this young family throughout this stressful and uncertain time. Many unexpected expenses come with a disaster such as this, and we would like to ease whatever burden we can as they navigate the next steps.
Thanks so much for the support, now and over the past two years.
