Thor Ivanoff 12.13.65 - 11.14.20
On the morning of November 14, 2020 Thor was hunting near Astoria, Oregon for the opening of elk season. After shooting his elk, he returned to his truck where he had a heart attack and passed away on the scene. He was only 54 years old.
Thor Ivanoff was an incredibly special man. Over the past few days, this has been reflected in how many people have reached out with the kindest words and memories of him. He was the best husband, father, sibling, and friend anyone could ask for.
Many people knew Thor through the Petroleum Industry where his career spanned over 25 years, including the last 13 years with Musket.
To say Thor is going to be missed is an understatement. He was a good friend to everyone he met. Thor was happiest when he was doing something for someone else - or hunting.
Thor is survived by his wife Janelle, and two daughters Annika (21 years old) who is a nursing student at Pacific Lutheran University and Addison (18 years old) who will be headed to college next year.
The funds raised here will be used to cover the Ivanoff family's expenses during this time, with a portion being donated to Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation in Thor's name.
Due to COVID a Memorial will be scheduled for Spring/Summer 2021
